Membership

Membership Criteria 

  • Bachelor’s level degree conferred from an accredited, four-year college or university with a 2.75 cumulative GPA at the time of graduation or currently seeking a four-year degree with a cumulative 2.75 GPA at an accredited college or university.
  • Graduate candidates may show transcript of a Masters' degree in lieu of GPA requirement.
  • Undergraduate candidates must have earned minimum of 12 credit hours All Levels.
  • Degrees conferred via online colleges/universities are acceptable as long as they are accredited by one of the accrediting agencies recognized by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
  • Graduates of approved 4-year Seminary or Military Educational Institutions can be considered for membership.
  • Favorable criminal background check
  • Demonstrated institutional/community leadership
  • Acceptable personal character
  • High moral reputation in the community or on campus
  • Financially capable

Benefits of Membership

Professional Development Zeta women develop leadership skills by attending seminars, holding officer and committee positions within the chapter; and serving as a role models for the Sorority’s youth affiliates.

Personal Development Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority is a living and learning experience for women with shared values and objectives. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of activities where you can use your unique talents and knowledge to contribute to the chapter and your community.​

Sisterhood Zeta Phi Beta encourages young women to learn and grow in the spirit of sisterly love and friendship; during college years and beyond.
